Placing a loved one on Hospice is a difficult decision that is often compounded by finding a place to care for them. Many of us are caring for someone while working full time. Many spouses take care of their children while tending to their loved one on hospice. Some people simply do not have the support system to keep their sick loved one at home. Currently, there are two choices for hospice care: to stay at home or to move to a skilled nursing facility. The latter may, perhaps, remove someone’s independent living at home due to complex care needs. But …
Solace Hospice has partnered with LCS, Koelsch and Charter Senior communities, and Rosewood of Inverness, a skilled facility to give families CHOICE. These communities and facilities share the same core values as Solace, and it is an honor to offer this gift of excellent service to families. Our services are aligned with these care partner communities to provide our residents with the best care possible. These programs will allow patients to spend their final days in a fully-furnished private room with all the amenities needed for complete comfort and support. This program is based upon Solace Hospice’s dedication to patient-centered care.
There is no age restriction or length-of-stay requirements at any of our facilities. However, our care facilities are NOT a unit for medical intervention or crisis management as other hospice companies provide. These programs have specifically been developed to allow all families the respect and dignity they deserve during difficult times.
Please take a moment to share this letter with the those who need to peruse this as we are determined to bring CHOICES back to the families.
